As we were passing we decided to pay a visit to the new shopping centre complex in the city – One New Change.
As I am not much of a shopping enthusiast there’s nothing particularly “wow” about the contents of the space for me – an array of the usual suspect retail outlets – but the building itself is rather quirky and interesting with some great eco-friendly factors such as “glass coated in solar control glazing” and an “air tightness target” for the outside to prevent heat escaping.
What did I learn?
a) Great views of London from the rooftop terrace – especially St Pauls.
b) The glass-surround lift makes you feel a bit sick. Especially if you are filming it / if you don’t like heights too much.
c) I like the logo BTW.
